A Trade Name Certificate is required for individuals conducting business under a name other than their own or under a name other than that of their corporation, LLC or business entity.

Also known as a DBA (doing business as).  A trade name is not the same as a trademark.

 

• Trade Name Certificates may be filed in person or by mail.
  
• Recording fee is $20, plus $3 to get a Certified Copy for your records.
