Notary Public Fees & Services

Upon receipt of his or her commission, a Notary must appear before the Town Clerk of the town of residence within 30 days to be sworn in, the commission recorded and a sample of his or her signature taken.  Optionally, the Notary may record his or her commision in the town of business as well. Fees for recording and registering your Notary Public commission in Bethany:

The fee to notarize a document is $2.00 per seal. Photo ID is required.

Documents being sent to certain countries may need the apostille or authentication of the Secretary of State in addition to that of the Town Clerk.
