Veterans Discharges




The Town Clerk's office accepts veteran's discharge certificates, also known as DD-214 forms, for filing in the permanent record books.  The original document must be presented.  The Town Clerk makes a copy and returns the original.  This is done at no cost to the veteran or family.  These records are shared with the Assessor's office and allow the veteran or surviving spouse to obtain any qualifying tax exemptions.
