The Town of Bethany is excited to announce that we are officially moving to a .gov domain.
Beginning February 12, the Town’s website and email addresses will use bethanyct.gov. A .gov domain is reserved exclusively for government entities and is widely recognized as a trusted, secure, and authoritative online presence.
This change helps residents and visitors quickly identify official Town communications and ensures that information they receive is coming directly from the Town of Bethany. Transitioning to bethanyct.gov strengthens security, improves transparency, and aligns Bethany with federal and state standards used by municipalities across the country.
During the transition, visits to the Town’s former .com website will automatically redirect to bethanyct.gov, and emails sent to .com addresses will continue to reach Town staff at their new @bethanyct.gov accounts. You may still see references to the former .com website and email addresses on some Town webpages and publications as updates are completed.
We are proud to take this step forward and look forward to continuing to serve the community under our new official domain.
