
November 4, 2025 - Municipal Election
Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Several municipal officials will be on the ballot such as Selectmen, Board of Finance, Board of Education, etc. and a ballot question. For the complete list of candidates and more information, please see the sample ballot below. The polling place for Bethany is Town Hall, 40 Peck Road, and will be open for in-person voting from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. If you are unable to come to the polls that day, an absentee ballot may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s office prior to November 4th.
Applications for Absentee Ballots are available now in the Town Clerk’s office or downloaded from the Secretary of the State’s website: Online Absentee Ballot Application Portal. The applications can be returned in-person, by mail, or placed in the drop box outside of Town Hall. Absentee Ballots will be issued starting October 3, 2025 and can be returned in-person, by mail, or placed in the drop box outside of Town Hall, no later than 8pm on November 4, 2025.
In addition to Election Day and Absentee Ballots, Early Voting will be available between October 20, 2025 to November 2, 2025. Early Voting days and hours will be as follows:

• Tuesday, October 21, 2025: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Wednesday, October 22, 2025: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Thursday, October 23, 2025: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

• Saturday, October 25, 2025: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Sunday, October 26, 2025: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

• Tuesday, October 28, 2025: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
• Wednesday, October 29, 2025: 10:00 am to 6pm

• Saturday, November 1, 2025: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Early Voting will take place in the Gym in Town Hall. For ease of voting, please bring your identification with you.
