Reporting Period 2/18/2021

Reporting Period 2/25/2021

A reminder: All data reported is preliminary and changes daily; data is updated by the State as new reports are received and data errors are corrected.

The top map is our reference point.  Week 2’s number in the top map covers 2/7/2021 – 2/13/2021.

The bottom map now repeats 2/7/2021 – 2/13/2021 (8 cases) as Week 1 – A jump of 5 additional cases.  Week 2 covers 2/14/2021 – 2/20/2021: 12 cases. It was an increase in cases that has now put us back in the red with a rate per 100,000 of 26.1

Once again, I cannot stress enough the importance of adhering to the guidelines and protocols. The data on the maps gives us a picture of what happens when we don’t. We are all in this together, and we need to do whatever we can to mitigate the spread of this virus.  It is up to all of us to do the right thing.

The Department of Public Health reports that the transmission of the virus is originating primarily as a result of activities outside of our “bubble” and/or not wearing a mask, not maintaining the appropriate social distancing and not doing regular handwashing.
