TAX COLLECTOR'S LEGAL NOTICE
Pursuant to SS 12-145 of the CT Statutes, the undersigned Tax Collector of the Town of Bethany gives notice that she will be ready to receive the second installment of Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes on the 2024 Grand List are due January 1, 2026. Payable to Bethany Tax Collector, 40 Peck Rd, Bethany CT 06524, Mon Fri from 8:30 3:30. Also pay at www.bethany-ct.com (EFT no fee, credit card 2.5% fee). Payments must be received or postmarked February 2, 2026, to avoid interest. All payments remaining unpaid after February 2, 2026, will be charged interest from January 1, 2026, at the rate of 1.5% for each month elapsing from the due date of the delinquent tax to the date of payment with a minimum interest charge of $2.00 per installment.
