Board of Finance

The Board of Finance is responsible for preparing a proposed budget to present to electors at the Annual Town Meeting held on the third Monday in May at 7:00 PM at Town Hall.

This Board makes recommendations on proposed capital expenditures and methods of financing them for action by the electorate who attend the Town Meeting. It monitors financial activity during the year, makes internal budget adjustments and is empowered to take certain emergency actions.

The Board of Finance meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Selectmen’s Room at Town Hall. This meeting is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.
